When is Winter Coming?

It is November 4, 2007 and we had our AC on today! Yes we are a strange family and do like to live as Eskimos but dern...when we it get cold and stay cold! Even our children have inherited our Eskimo behavior. They get very hot very easily! This is why I packed up all their PJs (except for one pair) and gave them to our neighbor. They sweat bullets if they wear PJ's to bed. So the attire is diaper and skin!

We went to a birthday party today at the park after church. The boys friend Jake was turning 4. We were there for about an hour and Jake got a Hummer Hot Wheels. Aidan drove it for a few minutes before I told him to get off and share. The meltdown started. In the middle of the birthday party he started to fling himself around the grass screaming and crying. I had Ashie on my hip and proceeded to walk up to the parents, thank them graciuosly for inviting, Happy Birthday Jake, walked over to my "fish outta water child" and drug him kicking and screaming to the car. Utter embrassing nightmare. Then we got home and Daddy didn't leave the key for us to get in. Aidan had fallen asleep in the car so I had to wake his ill ass up for him to crawl in the kitchen window to open the door. Well after I lowered him in I realized the two obstacles: 1. baby gate in kitchen that a 2 yr, who usually will scale right over it, suddenly forgot how to move his feet 2. childproof doorknob on the front door (but he didnt even make it past the gate)! So after calling Mat and chewing him out I retrieved the key and put two little boys in bed!!

Asher is going to make some woman VERY happy! He LOVES to cuddle and kiss his stuffed animals! I was changing sheets in their room and he would go grab an animal, run to the corner, rub their heads, gives them hugs and kisses, and lay them down gently! Too sweet!

Aidan told me today, "I BEARY proud of you momma!" He is very big into being "the good one". If Ashie bites, Aidan says " I no bite mommy! I no go to time out@ I a beary good boy mommy!" He says this everytime I punish daddy or ashie! He is a good big brother though! He always makes sure he gets his hugs and kisses from Ashie before he goes to sleep!

Eventful week this week! Jessica and Travis got married, as well as Carri had her baby boy! What a great way to celebrate the begininng of November!
