Should have invested in diaper stocks

Today was a really nice day!! It was my first day off since July 4th! But rememeber I won't discuss work! haha! We started with a trip to Target. We were supposed to go to straight to the park but after turning the house upside down looking for Aidan's shoes I gave in and just decided to go buy some (more...i hope Mat doesnt read this! lol maybe he won't notice the new shoes...)!! Well of course they were rearranging their shoe dept for the fall line, so no luck there!! This was frustrating because I can't just "run" in and out of stores to try to find something I need. Not to even mention the ordeal we go thru just to get out of the house in the morning, but I have to get out the double stroller, assemble all the parts (because they don't all fold down with the stroller), unbuckle one child out of the car seat and into the stroller, unbuckle the other child out of his carseat while keeping an eye on the child in the stroller to make sure he hasn't rolled himself into the street, rebuckle 2nd child into the stroller. Make sure I have diaper bag, purse, two juice cups, snacks and bribes for the tantrums Aidan will throw and enough for Asher when he gets upset because Aidan has something and he doesn't! BUT I LOVE THIS PART!!! I love complaing about this because I truely love my job so much!!! But back to my story! So no go with the shoes so I buy a bath toy instead. As we wait in line the millionth person asked me, "Awwww they are so cute are they twins?" TWINS?!! Are people blind!! I didnt even have them dressed alike today! One is 10 months old and drooling buckets full and the other may be 2 and a half but the size of a 3 or 4 year old!! So next stop is Shoe Carnival. It was close and they had some light up sandals on clearance in his size so I paid and left. Next stop the park. Now I hate this park because it's all the "perfect moms" with the "perfect strollers" and their "perfect play groups". It's near landfall (which is the country club of wilmington) so these moms do nothing but spend their husbands money all day! lol So we did the park thing and I got to use our new camcorder because our old one has been broken for a while, so I'm trying to tape every move they make now! Of course Asher starts screaming like he has never been on a swing before and Aidan starts yelling "No picture mommy, no picture! Turn it off!" But the weather was great and the kids had fun! Also as we were leaving I saw one of the "perfect moms" literally dragging her 2 year old to the car and I felt normal again! Asher is walking now! He pretty much has stopped crawling and walks everywhere! He is such a sweet and loving baby! ALWAYS loves to give kisses and hugs!! He LOVES playing with his brother!! It's so fun to watch them interact with one another! Asher has learned to start fights with Aidan. He'll walk over to where Aidan is playing and either sit or fall on him (I think that comes from Aidan always doing it to Asher). Aidan better watch out because Asher is going to kick his butt in about a year! I was trying to prepare dinner tonight when Asher got into the pantry and got a hold of the broom. Aidan comes in and says "No Ashie, not a toy! Don't touch! You go play with blocks! Mommy get him a ball". I LOVE IT! It was too adorable! Another Aidan moment was when I was vacuuming upstairs . I stuck both the kids in the crib to stablize them so I could vacuum real quick without anyone trying to bite the cord or unplug it! I went into our room to vacuum and came out and saw Aidan had picked up Asher and was trying his BEST to throw him over the rail!!! My kids really are good, it's just the bad stories are always SO much more interesting!!! lol Overall it was a great day! Had some great family time, did laundry, went tanning (my 20minutes of peace), cleaned the house, put up the laundry and changed all the sheets. Tomorrow by 10am there will be 2 new loads of laundry, dishes in the sink, breakfast all over the floor, no clean bottles, crumb filled sheets, 2 dirty diapers and something will be broken but Hey it's just another day! ;-)
